The BioWaterPool FlowBlow system is the first professional distribution system for vertical flow filters, which combines perfect distribution at different flow speeds with a compressed air flushing function in a pipe system.

In addition, the patented BioWaterPool FlowBlow system, thanks to its plug-in system, offers simple and quick installation for almost any filter geometry as well as a wide range of cleaning options, so that clogged, sludgy or rooted distribution systems and the associated complex renovations are finally a thing of the past.

Interpretation: For every 10 m³ of water (= maximum 1 bather per day), 2 m³ of DoloSafe-XS 4/6 or WM ZeoSafe are required. Filter flow rate at least 2 m³/h per m² filter area.

What is special about the “FlowBlow” filter system

The patented functional principle

The BioWater Pool FlowBlow filter system contains special filter materials that are flowed evenly and constantly, causing a biofilm to form on them. This removes all nutrients from the water, making it biologically stable and naturally clean.

The FlowBlow filter is characterized by vertical flow with minimal energy consumption. The strictly defined filter volume in connection with the rapid inflow offers optimal conditions for the growth of biofilm (inflow x nutrient content = biofilm growth).

In addition, flushing the filter bed with compressed air enables the filter body to be cleaned quickly and with almost no residue, thus guaranteeing an even and permanent flow of the filter material in all areas, whereby the filter cleaning can be carried out within a very short time without a prior break in operation.

The unique filter materials

In principle, a variety of filter materials can be fed with the FlowBlow system. However, two filter materials are particularly recommended: WM ZeoSafe and DoloSafe-XS (certified dolomite chippings 4/6 mm).

WM ZeoSafe is the higher quality filter material; it contains a specially prepared and therefore low-phosphate zeolite. Systems that are equipped with zeolite as a filter are referred to as natural pools category 5. Zeolite is a natural cation exchanger and has several functions in water treatment that optimize nutrient management. Fertilization is simplified, the sudden appearance of nitrite is avoided, nutrients for biofilm and plants are enriched and presented locally in the filter, whereby the biofilm shifts even more completely into the filter and the tank walls become even cleaner.
